For years, I have made our lunches many days in advance.I am well versed in food prepping. Both my husband and I work full time jobs aside from our blogs. I don’t have time to figure out what I am taking each day for lunch. It needs to be in the fridge and ready to go.
Taco meat is one of my go to’s. It’s easy. It’s quick to make. It’s versatile. It keeps well in the fridge. I use this for burritos, taco salads, loaded sweet potatoes and of course tacos.
Here is the recipe! I use 4 times the ingredients listed for weekly prep.
Serves approximately 3 people a 4 ounce serving
1 pound of lean ground meat
1 tbsp Lawry’s Chili and Lime Seasoning or the Carne Asada Seasoning
1 tbsp lime juice
2 tsp garlic powder
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, seasonings and lime juice. Cook until all the meat is browned. Drain off the excess fat and it’s ready to use. See quick and easy!
