My high protein breakfast blend

I DO NOT skip breakfast. Some mornings I have time to cook some eggs and actually sit down at the table. Most mornings, I don’t have that extra time. I have been blending my breakfast for years! This blend contains roughly 50 grams of protein.


1 cup plain, nonfat Greek yogurt

1 cup pasteurized liquid egg whites (These are stored like a carton of milk. Do not use raw egg whites. Consumption of raw foods can cause food borne illness)

1 cup frozen mixed berries

1 -2 teaspoons of stevia ( you can add more or less)

1 tablespoon of peanut butter or half of a small avocado (optional)

You can use any frozen fruit or fresh fruit such as bananas and berries. Also you can add chopped leafy greens. I love the silky texture that avocado adds.

In a blender, combine the ingredients listed above. Blend and enjoy. If the texture is too thick, add a little cashew milk to thin it out a bit.
