Burrata, Basil and Fresh Tomato Pasta

My favorite thing about summer is the tomatoes! I love all tomatoes. Recently, I have been seeing tons of recipes that are raving about Burrata. I finally got my hands on some. It is a fresh mozzarella ball with a creamy center. It’s delicious! I made some tomato and basil pasta and then topped it with Burrata. It is easy and extremely delicious. This makes an excellent side dish.

Serves 6


1 box of farfalle pasta

1 container cherry tomatoes

1 container of yellow cherry tomatoes

Handful of chopped, fresh basil

2-8 oz containers of BelGioioso Burrata (these container 4-2 oz mini Burrata’s)

Olive Oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Red pepper flakes to taste

Cook pasta according to package directions. While pasta is cooking, chop tomatoes in half and chop basil. Once pasta is finished, drain and add the tomatoes and basil. Drizzle with olive oil and add seasonings to taste. Gently stir. Divide into bowls and add a whole mini Burrata. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes, Enjoy this fresh, easy dish!
